Gen Kelsang Khedrub
Kadampa Meditation Center Washington Resident Teacher
Gen Kelsang Khedrub is a Western Buddhist monk and close disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance for many years. Ordained in 1995, Gen Khedrub was one of the very first North Americans to take ordination from Geshe Kelsang.
Through his compassion and wisdom, Gen Khedrub exemplifies the essence of the Bodhisattva’s path of helping others find peace and happiness in their busy lives. He maintains a tireless schedule of teaching, meditation, and personal study, showing students a perfect example of balanced Dharma practice.
Gen Khedrub teaches introductory classes at KMC WA on Sunday mornings and Monday evenings. He teaches an introductory class in Bellevue on Sunday afternoons.
He also teaches the Foundation Program and Teacher Training Program at the Temple, and teaches at frequent special events around the Seattle area.
